Øystein Fodstad, M.D. Professor, Norwegian Radium Hospital, Oslo, Norway.
Prof. Fodstad has been a Director of the Institute for Cancer Research at The Norwegian Radium Hospital since 2000 and Head of the Department of Tumour Biology for 15 years. He is a professor of experimental cancer chemotherapy at the University of Oslo.

Professor of Medicine, Deputy Director of The Cancer Center at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio , Chief, Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology and Director of The Institute for Drug Development. One of the world's leading drug development experts, Frank Giles, M.D., has placed San Antonio in the international spotlight in the conception, design, study and approval of novel anti-cancer drugs.  Giles is the founder and chairman of the International Oncology Study Group, a cooperative research group created in 1993 and composed of over 170 oncologists from 90 institutions throughout the Far and Middle East which conducts clinical therapeutic studies aimed at improving the prognosis for patients with cancer.

Daniel D. Von Hoff, M.D., F.A.C.P, Professor, Arizona Cancer Centre, USA.
Dr. Von Hoff is a Professor of Medicine, Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pathology; Member, Arizona Cancer Centre; Director, Arizona Health Sciences Centre's Cancer Therapeutics Programme and Director, Translational Drug Development Division Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). He is also a Chief Scientific Officer for US Oncology. Dr. Von Hoff has been involved in the development of many anticancer agents, including gemcitabine, docetaxel and fludarabine. He is the past president of the AACR and a past board member of ASCO. He is a founder and board member of ILEXTM Oncology Inc. He is also founder and editor of several Journals.

James F. Holland, M.D., Professor, Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, USA
Dr. Jim Holland is currently a Distinguished Professor of Neoplastic Diseases at The Derald H. Ruttenberg Cancer Centre at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He is an internationally known cancer researcher and a pioneer in cancer clinical trial research.

Stephen B. Howell, M.D., Professor, University of California, San Diego, USA
Dr. Howell has been Professor of Medicine since 1970. He has held positions at Dana Farber cancer Institute, Boston MA, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, CA; Clayton Foundation Drug resistance Laboratory at the UCSD Cancer Centre, The DepoTech Corporation La Jolla CA amongst others. His major focus and interest is in preclinical drug development.

Godefridus J. Peters, Ph.D., Professor, VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Prof. Peters is the Head of the Clinical Research Laboratory of the Department of Medical Oncology, VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam. Dr. Peters is an international expert in drug metabolism. He has extensive experience with mechanism of action studies.

Charles Smith, Ph.D., Consultant, La Jolla, USA
Dr. Charles Smith is a bio-chemist and consultant to the pharmaceutical industry. He has over 40 years of experience from drug development in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held senior research and development positions with a number of pharmaceutical companies, including President of Squibb Institute for Medical Research and Vice President R&D of Revlon Health Care Group. He has been directly involved or administratively responsible for research and development programs that have led to the marketing of approximately 20 major products, including cytarabine (Cytosar) by UpJohn. He is the founder of Vanguard Medica Ltd. (now Vernalis), a UK public biotechnology company.

Dr. Speyer is a Professor at the Departments of Medicine (Cancer Centre) and Medicine (Oncology) at the New York University Medical Centre. His medical speciality is breast cancer, chemotherapy, general haematology and oncology. His specific interest is haematology and oncology.
