Annette Clancy

Annette V. Clancy has over 25 years experience in the global pharmaceutical industry, predominantly spent with GlaxoSmithKline based in the US and the UK working in a variety of functions (R&D, Worldwide Strategic Marketing and Licensing/Business Development). 
She played a key role in the success of GSK's global business development group and was responsible for structuring and delivering some of GSK's most innovative deals with the biotech sector over the past 15 years. Annette retired from GSK in 2008 but remains chair of its Respiratory Centre of Excellence for Drug Discovery (CEDD).

Annette currently serves as a senior advisor at the US-based venture capital firm Frazier Healthcare Ventures, providing strategic advice on new and ongoing investments and also advising Boards and CEOs of its portfolio companies on strategy with particular emphasis on their partnering activities with big Pharma. 
She is presently a Non-executive Director at Silence Therapeutics PLC. 

Annette V. Clancy holds a BSc (hons) degree in Pharmacology and a series of Finance and Marketing diplomas from the USA. She is a UK citizen and resides in the UK.
