Karol Sikora

 

Karol Sikora is Medical Director of Cancer Partners UK (which is creating the largest UK cancer network), and simultaneously Scientific Director of Medical Solutions PLC, Britain's leading cancer diagnostic company.
After clinical training in general medicine and oncology, he became a researcher with the Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Sidney Brenner, at Cambridge.
From 1985 to 1997, he was Clinical Director for Cancer Services at the Hammersmith Hospital, and at the same time Professor of Cancer Medicine at Imperial College, School of Medicine. Dr. Sikora has been Chief of the WHO Cancer Program from 1997 to 1999 and Vice President of Global Clinical Research (Oncology) at Pharmacia Corporation.

  Dr. Sikora studied medical science and biochemistry at Cambridge University, later taking a Ph.D. in molecular biology at Stanford University, California.
Dr. Sikora is a British citizen residing in Beaconsfield, UK.
