With funds secured and new key executives in place, Clavis Pharma is expanding its clinical development programme and business development efforts.
- First patient enrolled in ELACYTTM Clinical Phase I/II study in hematological malignancies at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA. Two more sites, one in the US and one in Europe are preparing for patient enrolment.
- Patient recruitment progressing in ELACYTTM Clinical Phase II study in previously untreated malignant melanoma.
- Regulatory clearance obtained in Norway, Belgium and the UK to initiate clinical trials with the second cancer drug candidate, CP-4126. Patient inclusion in this first Clinical Phase I trial in patients with solid tumors will commence shortly.
- Clavis Pharma was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange on 7 July 2006 (ticker CLAVIS). Equity was strengthened through share issues totalling NOK 242 million (USD 39 million). The funds are being employed to accelerate and expand the drug development program and to boost the Company's business development activities.

Stine Rolstad Brenna was employed as Chief Financial Officer.
Gustav Christensen was employed as Chief Business Officer, based in Boston
Stina Gestrelius was elected member to the Board of Directors. - Net loss as of 30 June 2006 NOK 28.1 million, which is according to plan and reflects the ongoing development efforts.
