Clavis Pharma ASA is reporting the following update:
- As previously announced on 17 September 2007, Mr. Geir Christian Melen was appointed to become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Clavis Pharma. Mr. Melen will assume his new position as CEO of Clavis on 1 April 2008.
- The current CEO, Mr. Tom Pike, will continue to spend a significant part of his time as an advisor to the new CEO and the company in strategic and clinical matters. Furthermore the Election Committee of Clavis Pharma has decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting that Mr. Tom Pike be elected as a new member of the Board.
The Election Committee will also propose to the Annual General Meeting that Mr. Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe be re-elected as Chairman of the Board, that Mr. Geir Stormorken be re-elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Board, and finally that Dr. Stina Gestrelius be re-elected as a Board member. The remaining four directors of the current Board of Directors will continue as directors until the Annual General Meeting in 2009.
Hence, the Election Committee proposes that the new Board of Directors be comprised of:
- Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe, Chairman
- Geir Stormorken, Deputy Chairman
- Stina Gestrelius, Board member
- Kaci Kullmann Five, Board member
- Nils Olof Johansson, Board member
- Tom Pike, Board member
- Edward Karol Sikora, Board member
- Hilde Hermansen Steineger, Board member
The Annual General Meeting will be held in Oslo on May 14th 2008.
